Dragging your dog to the vet can be a traumatic experience! (Okay in Winnie's case it was less traumatic than it looks - I caught her here in a yawn.) But make no mistake, she does NOT like it. Never had a bad experience at the vet either, I think she just hates the smell of the place.
Anyway, she usually rides in the back. But after putting her through the poking and prodding at the vet I thought she'd enjoy riding shotgun.
We can never know for certain what a dog is thinking, of course. But I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say I'm forgiven.

Being wrong isn't so bad sometimes
Yesterday evening I was out at a friend's house and I got the following text from Sandy, who was at home:
Now sometimes communicating with a text is difficult, you have to develop your own personal shorthand. I know Sandy really well, so I know that message can mean a lot of things. It can mean "Winnie's a good dog. I just bought a $3,800 saddle." or "'Winnie's a good dog,' is something I might say if she hadn't eaten Gromit poop and then vomited it onto the couch."
The one thing I was sure of, is that "Winnie's a good dog" most certainly does not mean, "Winnie's a good dog."
But as it turns out, that's exactly what it meant! I'll have to figure out how to save that text forever, I get the feeling there will be a point in the future where Sandy might need a reminder.
